I have worked for years in the design field as a Design Director, Publication Artist, Textile Designer, and for the last years in Sculpture- the most satisfying form of expression to me.
Artist's Statement::
I love stone. Working by hand slowly, my dialogue with the material as well
as inspiration from nature and personal expression help release the form,
texture and feeling locked within.
My recent work, inspired at the Carving Studio, has taken me to new material where the lightness, and more rapid expression has resulted in the quik-set cement pieces on display.
