Retired engineer with longtime interest in art. Started woodcarving about 17 years ago and have moved on to using other media, alabaster, marble, hi-density urethane foams. and styrofoam. Currently doing thinset mortar on styrofoam armatures as per Roger Evans' class at the Carving Center in June '05

I just try to make shapes which interest and amuse me -- just
that and nothing more.
