Angelo Puccia

Profile:

Currently working as an artist and teaching part time at a new YMCA, in Fayetteville,NY.

I have worked in the business world as a sales rep and have been frustrated most of that time.  Now is the time to make every effort to live my heart as an artist.

Although this is very difficult, the past few months have been very rewarding.

With the funding provided by the New York State, CRC Individual Artist Award, material contributions from local companies and the cooperation from the Syracuse City Parks Department, I am creating a sculpture and benches for the community.

I also volunteer at the Salvation Army’s Barnabus Center, which gives me the opportunity to share my joy for creating and working with the cities talented young people.

I hope to start teaching stone sculpture at my studio this fall.

I want to thank the Carving Studio and the teaching of B’Amore for this wonderful opportunity to study and expand my carving skills.
